A group of students from the 'Mativta Rambam' Yeshiva High School from Long Island

visited the Yeshiva, as part of their visit to Israel.

The group arrived together with Rabbi Wortman one of the Yeshiva's Rabbis,

met with the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Eliezer Shenvald (Col res)

and asked to understand the considerations in the war in Gaza,

and how the Yeshiva Students integrate into the fighting on all fronts,

and how the students who study at the Yeshiva manage to continue studying despite the war.

After leaving the Yeshiva, the students went to visit the wounded soldiers at the Tel Hashomer Hospital,

where they also met the Rosh Yeshiva's son,

Major Mordechai Shenvald who was wounded in the battle in Gaza.
