On Monday evening,
The night of Asara VeTevet,
R' Moshe Shenvald, the Rosh Yeshiva's Father, was a guest at the Yeshiva.
A Holocaust survivor who survived Auschwitz and GrossGarden.
The event was open to the public and men and women participated.
R' Moshe Shenvald shared the story of his miraculous survival during the Holocaust.
And recounted how he and his friends tried to maintain Jewish life and observe the commandments in the camps.
The main message was that we must not forget what happened.
And must draw the right conclusions from the Holocaust, so that we will never see this situation again.
