Next Wednesday

we will hold a Parent-son study evening at the Yeshiva

for Shiur Bet and Gimel

in preparation for their enlistment to the IDF.

They will join the dozens of students

who have been serving in the army since the beginning of the war.

We wish them success

and pray so that Hashem guards them all

in their going and coming now and forever.

Purim in the northern border

image

Our students in Golani

who are fighting on the northern border against Hezbollah

were able to observe the mitzvot of Purim with their fellow fighters.

Eitan read the Magillah,

Ido finished Masechet Megillah.

And everyone participated in the joy of the Mitzvah

of the Purim meal and dancing in their base.

May Hashem guard their going and coming now and forever.

Purim at the Yeshiva

image

As every year we celebrated Purim at the Yeshiva

according to the best tradition.

Shabbat Zachor with the "Rav Purim" tradition

and the humorous and serious student performances.

The reading of Megillat Esther in the Beit Midrash,

the Purim party with the Yeshiva band and talented musicians until the late hours of the night.

In the morning after the Megillah reading

the students went out to deliver Mishlochei Manot to bereaved families.

And then the traditional Tish in the Rosh Yeshiva's house,

and Purim meals in the different Rabbis' houses.
