Pensioners spend Shabbat up north
This past Shabbat, a Shabbaton was held for couples of pensioners' Kollel at the Peki'in hostel. Forty-five couples attended this year.
This is the fourth year that the Kollel has a joint Shabbat that bonds friends together and creates a brotherhood feeling as well as an uplifting atmosphere.
During the Shabbat there were Shiurim and interesting lectures, Divrei Torah and singing at meals.
On Shabbat afternoon they went on a Lag B'Omer tour to the cave of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai in the city of Peki'in.
As part of the lively learning of the Kollel, a stormy discussion about Temple Mount took place leading up to Jerusalem's liberation day.
Shabbat ended with wishes for more, and with the promise to start planning for the next Shabbaton.
