On Monday evening, was the 46th birthday of Sgt. Meir Shenvald of blessed memory
The Rosh Yeshiva's brother (whose name is immortalized in the Yeshiva's name).
We held two zoom classes in his memory.
Multi-participant classes together with students of the community Beit Midrash,
and people from the community in Modi'in:
A lesson in halakhic study on a topical issue:
Are Chanukah candles lit in the courtyards with a blessing?
And a lesson in faith as part of the weekly lesson, on day to day issues.
The 25th paragraph deals with the subject: what is the connection between Chanukah and the Temple,
the Hasidic movement, and the resurrection of the nation in the land.
The classes will be dedicated to the memory of Rabbi Shenvald's brother
You can watch the lessons
On the Facebook page of the "Meir Harel" Yeshiva Modiin: https://fb.me/e/1OAA3naYz

May his memory be a blessing
