On Thursday another Bar Mitzvah cycle of "Shahak for Bnei Mitzvah” was completed for 30 non-religious boys.
This Yeshiva project is in collaboration with the Modi'in municipality.
We finished the group study and personal mentoring and embarked on a journey - from Modi'in to Jerusalem - to the Kotel with the Bar Mitzvah boys and their families.
We visited the Western Wall tunnels and all the boys put on Tefillin and read the Torah, and then we held a Bar Mitzvah party in a restaurant in the area.
The air was filled with joy and gratitude, there was and a feeling of unity and connection.
An exciting and especially gratifying event on such days that the media and politics highlight the differences, we ask to unify.
Congratulations to all the boys and their families.
On this occasion, we want to thank Ori Polovin who coordinated the project and wish good luck to Benjamin Shapira who will be taking his place.
